“The act of revealing oneself fully to another and still being accepted may be the major vehicle of therapeutic help.”

– Irvin D. Yalom

How does Group Therapy work?

We live in a world that has become socially isolated and emotionally desolate due to the outbreak of COVID-19. We have lost our sense of connection and thus lost our vital resource to growth and development.

Groups therapy usually comprises 8-12 group members who meet regularly with the aim of healing and growing in a particular area of life. Groups are closed which means that once they have formed, no new members can join in order to protect the sacredness of the group space.

Group therapy is an incredibly effective mode of psychotherapy as it draws on shared experiences, feedback from others with no ulterior motives, and profound learning both cognitively and emotionally.
