Are you looking at broadening your clinical skill set in the management of trauma, but not sure which of the newer trauma therapies would best suit your background as a clinician? Would you like to know more before committing yourself to further training? Are you interested in broadening and updating your theoretical knowledge in the area of trauma? Presented by Chris Uitzinger, this 1 day CPD-accredited learning experience aims to outline contemporary neurobiological and psychophysiological understandings of the human experience of trauma. The development and theoretical background of some newer brain based approaches to trauma will be outlined, allowing attendees to make an informed decision as to which modality they would like to get further training in. (Please note – no training in the clinical application of any trademarked therapy will be given). Practical micro-skills to help facilitate stability and co-regulation in therapy with clients managing trauma will be offered.
